Made of premium-grade U. S. Steel coated with porcelain enamel inside and out, the bowl and lid of the Weber Ranch Kettle charcoal grill are precisely formed to allow heat to circulate evenly across the huge cooking area. The black porcelain-enamel coating is baked on, fusing the finish to the steel to prevent rusting and peeling through years of use. With the versatile Ranch Kettle grill, you have the option of indirectly cooking large amounts of food by placing charcoal on one side of the grill and food on the other, which creates convection-style heat circulation.
The adjustable top vent provides the proper airflow needed for perfect grilling and helps you to control the temperature inside the grill. This Weber Ranch Kettle grill also features a hinged stainless steel cooking grate, for easily adding more charcoal, two glass-reinforced nylon handles that will withstand the elements for the life of the grill, tool hooks and a Tuck-Away lid holder that conveniently allows you to store the lid while you grill. The high-capacity, porcelain-enameled ash catcher lifts out for easy ash disposal and cleaning.

This grill was mine for 21 years. Use it consistently all year long. It has a tank-like design. When we host larger gatherings of friends, I can quickly prepare eight slabs of ribs or a lot of pulled pork. I heartily endorse it. I rate it at ten!

Fantastic grill For my family of six, I can make enough barbecue to last us a week whether you cook small or large. Using the snake approach, set the vents, and leave the grill unattended for 13 to 15 hours will allow it to maintain 260 degrees.

I do a lot of large cookouts with briskets, pork butts, ribs, etc., so I really loved the grilling area on this beast. However, I did make one modification to mine: I added a temperature gauge about 9 inches below the top vent because I often cook indirectly and wanted to know what the temperature was above my grilling area. It worked great, and I was able to keep my heat at 250 for nine hours by using the snake method. I also have the 22-inch model with the rotisserie attachment, which is absolutely fantastic, and I would strongly suggest it to anyone.

It has been a fantastic piece of gear to use on numerous occasions. Total, I have 2 charcoal Webers and 2 gas 3-burners.I heartily endorse WEBER since they are quite durable.
